The villagers are simple and kind. After we arrived, we could feel the villagers’ care for use everywhere. The older villagers invited us as guests in their homes, invited us to weddings, and gave us their best things for us [when we visited]. Little by little, [these actions] allowed us to feel the villagers’ kindness, simplicity, and enthusiasm. Here, we begin by showing care to women and children because when the nuclear family is warm, the entire family is stable and harmonious.

This year we also carried out an “every week one sentence” [Uyghur language event] and organized a “national language night class” to allow communication with villagers to be easier.

村民是淳朴善良的。我们来到村里后,处处都能感受到村民对我们的关心。老乡们邀请我们到家中作客,参加她们的婚礼,拿出家里最好的东西招待我们。点点滴滴让我切身感受到了村民的善良、淳朴和热情。我们在这里从关心妇女、孩子做起,因为小家庭温馨了,大家庭就稳定和谐了…

这一年我们又开展“每日一句”、举办“国语夜校”,让我们与村民的交流更简单;
