The villagers are simple and kind. After we arrived, we could feel the villagers’ care for use everywhere. The older villagers invited us as guests in their homes, invited us to weddings, and gave us their best things for us [when we visited]. Little by little, [these actions] allowed us to feel the villagers’ kindness, simplicity, and enthusiasm. Here, we begin by showing care to women and children because when the nuclear family is warm, the entire family is stable and harmonious.

This year we also carried out an “every week one sentence” [Uyghur language event] and organized a “national language night class” to allow communication with villagers to be easier.
